Rev. KC Taylor (they/them), previously known as Rev. Karen Frost, is the senior minister of the United Life Center for Spiritual Living in Oklahoma City. During their three-year tenure as assistant minister, Rev. KC spearheaded drag shows, retreats, Singo and Spiritual AF, a weekly community space. When they stepped into the senior minister position, they re-branded Sunday morning services to “Spiritually Uncuffed”.
Since 2021, Rev. KC has worked as a Youth Care Coordinator at Sisu Youth Services. They also manage the TikTok channel for the Centers for Spiritual Living and write newsletter content for SWAN (Strategy + Wisdom + Aligned + Normalized). That’s right, Rev. KC has FOUR jobs.
Rev. KC’s ministry began in 2018 as the senior minister and co-founder of Spirit Uncensored. Through Rev. KC’s leadership, Spirit Uncensored became home to NextGEN, CSL’s global support community for people between the ages of 18-35. On January 1st, 2021, they launched #BestDayEverMovement, a social media movement designed to inspire everyone to live each day expecting to experience the best day ever.
Prior to Oklahoma City, Rev. KC served as a TV Creative Executive at JuVee Productions, Viola Davis and Julius Tennon’s production company in Los Angeles. At JuVee, Rev. KC developed TV and film projects told from marginalized perspectives. Examples include the blockbuster film “The Woman King”, and the TV series, “The First Lady” on Showtime.
